Hayley Group Limited are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our well-established and experienced team based at our Normanton branch. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

Hayley Group is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (hydraulics, bearings, fasteners, fluid power, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK. About the Business Administration Apprentice opportunity

As our Business Administration Apprentice, you will be helping to provide excellent service to our customers through the sale of goods across our product range.

You’ll be a confident communicator and happy to be dealing with internal and external queries over the phone.

A typical day could be supporting the team with data entry and maintaining accurate records along with helping tomanage incoming and outgoing emails. Keeping office supplies stocked and organised will form part of this role also.

We’ll provide training on our systems and processes, and you’ll learn how to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

You’ll participate in training and development activities as part of your apprenticeship.

Once you are confident and ready you’ll start to learn how to prepare quotes for customers, raise purchase orders and source prices for products and deliver costs from suppliers too.

The sky really is the limit with this apprenticeship!

Our previous apprentice in this space has just won the People’s Choice Award for the whole business for Q2 for her commitment to customer service excellence and also for bringing energy,enthusiasm and thirst to learn to everything she does!

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

The recruitment process

* Shortlisted applicants with have an initial screen meeting over teams with our Talent Acquisition Partner
* Interviews will take place Tuesday 5th August will be held at our Normanton Branch
* Candidates selected for interview will be asked to prepare a for an interview lasting 1 hour focused on skills, knowledge, experience and motivations.
