Senior Support Worker
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is hiring 6 Senior Support Workers (Permanent).
Hours: 37 per week on a flexible rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
Salary: Grade 6 (£28,598 to £31,022).
Location: Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre or various locations across Dudley borough.
Role Overview
As a Senior Support Worker you will support Community Care Supervisors and deliver person‑centred care to people living at home.
Responsibilities
* Enable people to be supported at home with daily living activities.
* Provide community care service with person‑centred support and opportunities for people and their carers.
* Lead a designated staff team to meet service initiatives and developments, including legislative standards (CQC, Care Act).
* Manage care demand and ensure safe discharge and care provision.
* Maximise a person’s independence to deliver person‑centred outcomes.
Requirements
Travel across Dudley borough and use a vehicle. Subject to medical clearance and enhanced DBS check. Ability to provide right to work documentation. No sponsorship for non‑UK candidates.
