The Role
We’re looking for an organised, detail-oriented and client-focused Onboarding & Implementation Specialist to join our team. This role is key to ensuring our clients’ journeys with Mother start on the strongest possible footing — from project scoping and deployment, to installation and go-live.
You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across sales, operations, tech and customer support — becoming a critical bridge between the internal teams delivering the solution and the clients/customers using it. You’ll be responsible for the seamless rollout of new machines — both for our own vending network and for white-label partners across FMCG and retail.
This is a hands-on, problem-solving role, ideal for someone who enjoys working on complex multi-stakeholder projects and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the full onboarding process for new clients — from kick-off through to successful go-live.
* Lead implementation of machine installations and tech activations, ensuring timelines, logistics and quality standards are met.
* Act as the primary point of contact for new clients during the onboarding phase — setting clear expectations, tracking milestones, and resolving blockers quickly.
* Translate client requirements into actionable internal plans — coordinating with sales, tech, and logistics teams to deliver bespoke solutions.
* Support white-label rollouts, ensuring projects align with brand guidelines, operational needs and technical specs.
* Develop playbooks and repeatable processes to improve the speed and quality of future onboardings.
* Ensure post-launch success by handing over to account management and customer support teams with clear documentation and context.
* Support testing and QA processes ahead of go-live to ensure a smooth experience for end users.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in an onboarding, implementation, or project delivery role — ideally in a tech, logistics, FMCG, retail, or SaaS environment.
* A natural project manager — able to juggle timelines, stakeholders, and priorities with ease.
* Strong communicator with excellent client-facing skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
* Detail-oriented and process-driven — always looking for ways to improve how things are done.
* Tech literate — comfortable understanding digital products, hardware integrations, and data platforms.
* Flexible and hands-on — willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, from warehouse visits to client presentations.
* Comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment where priorities can shift quickly.
* Experience with CRM or project management tools (e.g. Pipedrive, Asana) is a plus.
Hours of Work:
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm. Some flexibility may be required for client launches or events.
