Experienced Social Worker - Duty & Assessment Team - Calderdale Council Calderdale Council are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their busy Duty & Assessment Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a range of statutory duties including: Completing Section 47 enquiries and attending child protection medicals Participating in strategy meetings and completing Child & Family Single Assessments and Pre-Birth Single Assessments Attending Initial Child Protection Case Conferences, core group meetings, and Child in Need (CIN) meetings Completing paperwork related to PLO and care proceedingsThis role requires candidates with at least 3 years' experience working for a Local Authority in a similar capacity.
