Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Supervising Worker within the Fostering Service to work Full Time for 5 Fostering, based in Kent, Sussex & South Essex. The salary for this permanent Supervising Social Worker job is up to £34,000per annum. Main duties: Manage a caseload of foster carers. Provide regular supervision visits and ongoing support. Offer guidance on behaviour management, trauma-informed care, and safeguarding. Maintain strong, professional relationships with carers. Ensure the needs and welfare of children are paramount. Monitor placements and respond to safeguarding concerns. Participate in child protection processes and risk assessments. Support matching of children with appropriate foster carers. Monitor placement stability and outcomes. Attend statutory reviews, planning meetings, and multi-agency meetings. Undertake Form F assessments. Contribute to recruitment and training for foster carers. Present assessments for fostering panels where required. Liaise with local authority social workers, education, and health professionals. Provide reports and professional advice across agencies. Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and reports.
