Driven by our continued success, we are seeking a QRS Food Retail Auditor to partner with leading global fast-food brands, ensuring they consistently meet the highest quality standards. This is a vital role, contributing to the ongoing effort to uphold food safety across the UK.ABOUT YOUWe are currently seeking someone who has a background in Food Service or Retail Food to join our global organisation as a QRS/Retail Auditor and join us on a zero-hours contract to cover the Midlands area.Required skills and experience:Experience working in a retail, restaurant, or food factory/processing environment alongside experience of being audited, or conducting audits, would be highly desirableIdeally, have previous work experience in the Food Service industry, with some exposure to Food Safety, however, full training can be provided by our experienced teamLevel 2, 3 or Level 4 Food Safety qualification is advantageousLevel 2, 3 or Level 4 HACCP qualification is advantageousGood working knowledge of Health and Safety in a Restaurant/Food environmentMathematics and English GCSEs, or equivalent, are essentialFull UK Driving licence and own carABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYAs a QRS/Retail Auditor, you will be part of Intertek SAI Global business and will be travelling to client sites to conduct the audit for a variety of Food and Restaurant clients, including Fast Food chains, High Street Restaurants, and Commercial Food Venues on a zero-hours contract.Key activities:Be responsible for auditing some of the most well-known names on the UK high street against the appropriate food safety, hygiene, and inter-company standards.Conduct food safety, brand standards and workplace health and safety evaluations at client locationsConsult, coach and train clients on the latest food safety, health, and hygiene practicesWork with account management teams to resolve client challengesProvide accurate reporting and ensure effective customer communication and relationshipsAdditionally, due to the nature of the role (which will be on a flexible contract), access to own transport is essential and the role will involve both weekend and evening work.This is a Zero-hour contract, with flexible working hours.WHAT WE OFFERJoin Intertek and become part of our global network of inspiring and entrepreneurial colleagues.
