Overview
We are looking for an energetic, focussed and community minded person with strong business and administrative skills and the experience to deliver excellence in public service. The Council currently has an annual precept of £493,081 serving an electorate of approximately 7,000 people, so experience of managing large and sometimes complex budgets is required. Council Meetings are held once a month, usually on a Monday evening, and as Clerk you will be required to liaise with Councillors as well as coordinate and Clerk all Council meetings. The Clerk will also manage a team of staff to deliver a range of Council services and public facilities. The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Monday 8th December 2025.
