Project Engineer

Location
Based in Aberdeen with responsibilities in Great Yarmouth and potential travel.
Responsibilities
* Deliver project engineering services, fully compliant with Global Engineering standards.
* Liaise with Operations and Project Managers to balance workloads and meet client deadlines.
* Mentor engineers through the Totara career program and support the Operations team.
* Complete all PPS procedures, ensuring thorough procedural documentation.
* Act as focal point for small to medium projects and support Project Account Managers.
* Assist UK sales teams in developing profitable service offerings within oil and gas.
* Identify and report new business opportunities to drive revenue.
* Participate in on‑call rotations and departmental meetings.
* Implement best practices within P&M through procedures, training, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure timely engineering delivery, adherence to BHI policies, and accurate reporting.
* Provide technical guidance to field engineers, forecast resources, and collaborate with Application Engineering.
* Provide holiday cover or cover for absenteeism.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
* Demonstrable ability to carry out engineering scopes for both Process and Pipelines.
* Understanding of Process and Pipeline operations in operational areas or districts.
* Thorough understanding of customer requirements and procedures.
* Knowledge of Oracle (advantageous).
* Ability to interact with staff, contractors, and clients.
* Competence with MS Office, Bluebeam, and Centrum applications.
* Valid UKNS offshore survival, medical, and required training.
