Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure
Our client, a leading consultancy in physical assets management and construction, is dedicated to advising clients on the management and use of their physical assets. They are distinguished by their people, innovation, expertise, and experience.
They are recruiting a Project Manager for either a permanent or contract role at their site in Liverpool.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Ports, Rail, or Local Authority projects, with a proven track record in project delivery.
Following recent appointments with Network Rail, EDF, the Environment Agency, and supporting major projects in the Middle East from the UK, our client seeks ambitious, highly motivated Associate-level Project Managers with UK infrastructure experience to join their team.
Key requirements include:
1. Experience leading project management services on UK infrastructure, utilities, or complex construction projects exceeding GBP 100 million.
2. Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage multidisciplinary teams including commercial, programme controls, risk, and engineering to meet client requirements and establish robust baseline plans.
3. Knowledge of delivering NEC4, NR, or FIDIC contracts.
4. Experience working within a project delivery team, either in a client organization or consultancy.
Successful candidates will demonstrate leadership in delivering high standards in challenging environments, with a proactive approach to learning, development, and knowledge sharing. Mentoring junior staff and supporting bids are integral parts of the role.

Desired skills and attributes:
1. Professional membership (APM, RICS, ICE, etc.)
2. Extensive project management experience on complex UK civil engineering or construction projects
3. Strong technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills
4. Organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, and commercially aware
5. Ability to obtain Security Clearance
