Test Manager (Scottish Forestry)
Job description
Scottish Forestry is the Scottish Government agency responsible for forestry policy, support and regulations, grants incentives, technical forestry advice and new cross border arrangements.
We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead testing activity across our digital services, ensuring systems are robust, compliant and meet the needs of users. You will work closely with developers, product owners, project managers, live support, business analysts and operational colleagues, contributing to the successful delivery and release of new and enhanced digital services.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
1. Proven experience in software testing within a management or coordination role, including ownership of test strategies, plans and execution cycles.
2. Experience testing enterprise‑level or case management systems, including coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.
3. Experience working with automated testing tools and recognised delivery methodologies such as Agile or PRINCE2.
