Facilities Manager at Progress Housing Group. A competitive salary of £47,754 per annum, reflecting your expertise and commitment. Remote based role with a primary base in Leyland with travel to our sites in Darwen, Leeds, and occasionally London when required. Flexibility for some hybrid working is available, subject to agreement with your line manager. Your Role As Facilities Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our buildings and workspaces are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. You’ll lead a dedicated Facilities Management Team and take ownership of the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and statutory compliance across a range of sites. You’ll be responsible for delivering high standards across all our premises, supporting both staff and customers by creating safe and welcoming environments. This includes managing critical building systems, coordinating inspections and audits, and ensuring all facilities meet health and safety regulations. This is a full-time, permanent role, working 36.25 hours per week. Due to the multi-site nature of the position, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. What We Are Looking For To succeed in this role, you will need: Proven experience in a similar facilities management or building maintenance role. A relevant qualification (e.g., foundation degree, BTEC, HND) or equivalent experience Strong leadership and people management skills. Solid understanding of building regulations and technical knowledge of building services. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety standards and COSHH regulations, with a commitment to safe working practices. A high level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently, managing tasks with initiative and efficiency. Why Progress Housing Group?
