You will be part of the Liaison and Diversion Services multidisciplinary team in London, working closely with colleagues from the North London Forensic Collaborative and South London Partnership (NHS).
The service supports vulnerable adults with multiple and complex needs, including those with mental health, substance misuse, social and criminal justice challenges.

About the Role
To manage, supervise, and oversee a multi-agency multidisciplinary team, delivering a flexible and accessible service to service users across London. The Team Manager ensures high-quality service delivery, strong partnership working, and continuous improvement of staff, service standards, and outcomes.
What You’ll Do
1. Lead the day-to-day operations of the Liaison & Diversion service, ensuring effective delivery of service models, pathways, and high-quality standards across multiple sites.
2. Manage, supervise, and develop staff—including coaching, performance management, recruitment, induction, and ensuring continuous professional development.
3. Build and maintain strong partnerships with external agencies such as NHS teams, Probation, Courts, Prisons, Police Custody, Housing, and community services to ensure coordinated support for service users.
4. Monitor and report on service performance, ensuring targets, KPIs, safeguarding responsibilities, and CQC standards are met, and that data and reports are accurate and timely.
5. Support service improvement by developing effective systems, contributing to service development work, and implementing structured intervention programmes.
6. Manage risks and incidents, including safeguarding concerns, complaints, and serious incidents in line with policy and escalating when required.
7. Provide operational flexibility, including holding a small caseload when needed and deputising for the Service/Area Manager to ensure service continuity.
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:
8. A relevant qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), with additional professional qualifications in counselling, social work, or addiction studies being desirable.
9. Strong people-management skills, with the ability to coach, support, and guide staff to deliver high-quality services, and ideally experience in managing performance processes.
10. Experience working towards targets and KPIs, with the ability to monitor performance, collate information, and produce clear, accurate reports.
11. A solid understanding of the needs of diverse and vulnerable service users, including those involved in the criminal justice system.
12. Confidence working with multiple agencies, building effective relationships across health, criminal justice, and community services.
13. Good digital and administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office applications.
