Are you a detail-driven demand planner who thrives on turning data into clear, actionable plans? At Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Ltd, we’re looking for an experienced B2B Demand Planner to take ownership of our planning cycles and collaborate with key stakeholders to align forecasts with commercial targets. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our seed and horticulture products are available when and where they’re needed most — across a highly seasonal, high-SKU environment.
Core Responsibilities:
* Manage B2B demand planning process/cycle, including weekly & monthly review meetings and update of demand plan to align to sales targets/budget.
* Utilise existing historic data and inputs from key stakeholders to create and maintain specific forecast models where required to support business requirements.
* Creation of detailed B2B sku/volume demand plan which is aligned to sales targets - By demand stream, sku/Volume & financial revenue.
* Gap analysis (Volume V Sales target forecast) and work with sales to close/account for gaps.
* B2B Critical paths – create, maintain and manage accurate critical paths for all demand streams/activities. Including associated data pack (range/stores/volumes/sales targets etc).
* B2B Activity Calendar - collation of CP’s and key review points in line with S&OP cycle.
* Input into S&OP reporting with regards forecast accuracy (and reasons/learning from deviation), changes to demand plan at each cycle and any outstanding gaps/risks that need resolving.
* Monthly signed off (all parties) 18 month rolling forecast, with associated data pack.
* Ensure finished goods product statuses in Sage/Avercast are maintained to align to active ranges.
We are looking for someone who has demonstrable previous experience of demand planning, forecasting or supply chain analyst experience within a B2B environment. ideally with an FMCG or Manufacturing environment. You will be highly organised and process driven with strong communication skills and also demonstrate:
* Advanced IT/Analytical skills, including confidence with ERP, BI and forecast modelling systems and processes.
* Ability to work across multifunction teams, leading and facilitating meetings with confidence
* Capability to drive consensus and drive stakeholder input into actionable demand plans
* Bringing together data sources and inputs from meetings to create an agreed & detailed plan
* An understanding of product statuses, lifecycle changes and the implications for forecast accuracy and inventory management
