About the Role
We’re looking for an Operations Manager to join our team. The Operations Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth store operations and helps the business grow. Deputising for the Store Manager, the Operations Manager creates an inclusive environment for all managers and colleagues, models great leadership, and oversees all aspects of the store, including achievement of operational KPI targets, high store standards, safe and legal compliance, and motivating a high-performing, engaged team.
* Be accountable for the end-to-end process of all operations within the store, ensuring appropriate resources to deliver routines to the highest standard.
* Continuously identify, develop and mentor talent across the store and wider region, creating a pipeline of successors.
* Build capability of the Management team through stretching their accountability and developing plans for growth.
* Partner with the People Manager to embed a culture of adaptability and support Managers in embracing change.
* Ensure all departments and colleagues comply with food safety laws and other legal requirements.
* Support Managers with forward-thinking action plans to increase performance.
* Contribute to the annual Store plan, using a commercial mindset to maximise performance opportunities.
* Leverage freedom within the framework to develop local ideas that exceed sales targets and drive performance.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders to deliver continuous improvements that benefit the customer.
* Lead by example to deliver exceptional standards and performance across the store, focusing on what matters most for customers.
* Oversee all processes that affect product availability and build Management capability to provide continuous improvement insight.
* Gather direct customer feedback, incorporate it into improvement plans, and work with central teams for ongoing service enhancement.

Qualifications
Our operations managers must have previous experience in the retail industry, managing a large customer-facing, high-turnover operation with turnover over £150k per week.
