Overview
This role requires excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently in various environments such as Hospitals, Universities and Research companies throughout Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset.
Responsibilities
* Conducting routine service, calibration and repairs of centrifuges and CO2 incubators.
* Maintaining accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed.
* Provide training to clients.
* Depending on location some overnight stops may be required (fully expensed by GTB).
Qualifications
* A general qualification (B-TEC or equivalent) in engineering, electrical or mechanical is preferred.
* Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer – although someone with less experience will be considered (recently out of college etc.).
* A valid and clean driving license is required for travelling to clients locations.
* Product Training will be given, (depending on needs) will be given in the UK and Europe.
