A bit about the role…
* The Retail Sales Team are the face of The National Lottery to existing Retailers, supporting them to increase Returns to Good Causes, driving sales through enhancing in-store standards, Retailer Training, and managing the retail estate.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with our retailer network within an assigned territory through territory management.
* Support and grow in-store standards, and advocate the commercial value of The National Lottery to boost sales and returns to Good Causes.
What you’ll be doing…
Strategic Delivery:
* Support the Annual Business Plan by delivering key messages and marketing updates to our retail network.
* Assist the Retail Sales Team objectives and review progress against measures, collaborating across territories/divisions as needed.
* Bring retail insights and innovative practices into Allwyn through team meetings and 1:2:1’s with the Retail Sales Manager.
Execution:
* Deliver Retail KPIs via territory management plans and store visits.
* Proactively improve in-store standards and communicate key messages.
* Develop strong relationships within your territory to ensure excellent in-store execution and retailer advocacy.
* Understand your territory, retailers, and competitors to drive sales and support good causes.
* Ensure retailer compliance with player protection via Retail Training Centre (RTC).
* Engage in personal development through our Retail Sales Academy (RSA).
What experience we’re looking for…
* Previous field sales or customer service experience (preferred but not essential).
* Innovative mindset with new ideas.
* Strong sales and commercial skills.
* Excellent relationship-building skills with retailers.
* Experience in face-to-face selling.
* IT literate.
* Data analysis skills to provide insights.
* Ability to deliver effective training at all levels.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
