We have a vacancy for a confident Health Care Support Worker to work with Psychiatry of Old Age Services, Angus, in our Post Diagnostic Dementia Service. This service provides support to people who have been given a diagnosis of dementia over a minimum of 12 months. You should have a flexible approach to working and an interest in / knowledge of dealing with older people with dementia and mental health conditions. Excellent communications skills, including written and IT, basic numeracy skills and a caring and understanding nature are essential. You will be required to access clients across the whole of Angus in your day to day role.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
