A Local Authority in the South East is looking for an experienced Interim Planning Policy Team Leader to provide leadership and support during a maternity cover period. This is a key role within the Planning Policy team, with responsibility for managing a team of planners and progressing Local Plan work.
Role Specific
* Hybrid working arrangement – Ideally 2 days per week in the office
* 10-12 month maternity cover contract
* Management responsibility for a team of 5 Policy Planners
* Experience leading Planning Policy teams within a Local Authority environment
* Strong understanding of Local Plan preparation and progression
* Experience working with senior stakeholders and elected members
* Ability to provide leadership, mentoring and strategic direction
Carrington West Pay Rate - Negotiable depending on experience
