Honeycomb Jobs is delighted to be working with a highly credible UK charity in order to secure a Marketing Administrator on a 1 year fixed term.
The Client - This UK-wide charity carries a mission whereby to 'end the harm, abuse and exploitation of older people'. With over 30 years' experience throughout the provision of services, this credible charity advocates by performing their duty to the legacy of its' service users and works to educate the wider public by promoting the prevention of harm via a fully manned helpline alongside wider support services.
The Role - Reporting to the Income Generation and Fundraising Lead, duties will consist of but not be limited to the following:
Supporting the work and development of the charity through individual and collective marketing activities, special projects and general income generation activities. Working with the lead, you will be responsible for designing and delivering effective fundraising campaigns - from planning to inception, through to creative development, audience targeting and performance analysis.
Main duties: Fulfil a range of deliverables of which include -
* Plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising campaigns, including appeals, donor journeys, social media fundraising, and community giving.
* Produce engaging, emotionally resonant content that is tailored to different audiences and channels.
* Coordinate campaign creative across email, website, social media and advertising platforms.
* Develop and test different formats and approaches to increase supporter conversion and retention.
* Coordinate fundraising content for the website, ensuring pages are user-friendly, up to date and optimised for conversion.
* Collaborate with colleagues across all teams to create informed narrative and ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity.
* Build and optimise email supporter journeys using CRM and email tools (e.g. Donorfy, Mailchimp).
* Track supporter engagement using Google Analytics and CRM data, feeding insights into campaign development.
* Ensure all supporter data is handled securely and in line with GDPR and the organisation's internal policies.
* Provide regular financial and performance reports on fundraising activities.
* Work closely with the wider Income Generation, Brand, and Policy teams to embed income generation across the organisation's fundraising strategy. Working closely with the Frontline Service Team to understand beneficiary need and the charity's delivery models.
* Provide digital support for cross-organisational campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
* To supervise the work of any fundraising volunteers and provide them with appropriate advice and guidance.
* Travel occasionally across the UK and Ireland as required.
The Person - The post-holder will be required to meet the following criterion prior to reaching the next stage of the campaign:
* At least a year's demonstrable experience of developing and delivering marketing campaigns with demonstrable results
* Strong knowledge of digital platforms including email marketing, paid social, and Google Ads
* Confidence using Google Analytics and CRM/DRM platforms (e.g. Donorfy, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce)
* An understanding of design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar, plus Microsoft Office
* Experience writing persuasive content for a range of digital formats and audiences
DESIRABLE:
* Experience in the charity sector, ideally with digital fundraising, campaigning or community engagement
* Experience creating or managing Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns (e.g. Google Ad Grants)
* Experience tailoring content for underrepresented or hard-to-reach audiences
