Senior FF&E Interior Designer | Luxury Residential
£50,000 - £60,000 | London
Permanent
If Carlsberg did Design studios……….this would be it. These guys are working on the sort of premium homes that we all save on pinterest for about 12 years before realising there is no chance we will ever own one.
This highly regarded London design studio has built a serious reputation within the luxury residential world – renowned for creating beautifully layered, deeply personal interiors for an ultra-high-end client base.
Not flashy for the sake of it. Not “luxury” in the gold taps and crushed velvet sense. Considered design that is delivered by a team that genuinely cares about the finer detail.
They are now looking to appoint a Senior FF&E Interior Designer to work closely with the leadership team across a range of high-end residential projects, taking schemes from early concept right the way through to delivery.
The role itself is ideal for somebody who enjoys balancing the creative side of design with the technical and delivery aspects that actually make projects happen.
You’ll be involved in:
* Concept design and presentation development
* FF&E specification and sourcing
* Space planning and interior architecture coordination
* Client-facing project leadership
* Supplier and artisan relationships
* Managing programmes, budgets and documentation
* Mentoring more junior designers internally
* Site visits and overseeing quality through delivery
We are looking for somebody with a good level of experience within interior design, specifically in the luxury residential sector. Clearly the post holder will need a strong eye FF&E eye and technical confidence across detailed packages and delivery. AutoCAD proficiency is a pre-requisite, ditto SketchUP and Adobe Creative Suite.
Based in a lovely central area of London, the studio environment feels collaborative, grown-up and design-led with an expectation that the designer will be office based during probation, moving to a 4 day office, 1 day working from home arrangement thereafter.
Salary is around the £50,000 - £60,000 – with other perks including lunches, annual overseas remote working allowance (1 week per year), socials, recognition awards, and critically, a dog friendly office environment.
If this sounds like a challenge worth moving for, let’s talk.
