Jark Recruitment are now recruiting Administrative Staff for Healthcare Offices across Northern Ireland, with immediate starts in a number of hospital locations in the Craigavon area. The role of administrator entails office duties including answering the telephone, managing appointments, dealing with the public and general administration duties. Candidates with minimal office experience and confidence using Microsoft Office are encouraged to apply, with a quick turnaround in the application process guaranteed. Job Duties: Deal with queries via email, telephone and in person Filing, photocopying and any other general ad hoc clerical and administrative duties Take responsibility for the supply of stationery as required Dealing with confidential information and maintaining accurate records, both physical and electronic Effectively deal with telephone calls from patients, relatives, hospital staff and General Practitioners and other individuals or organisations, taking messages, ensuring follow-up and resolving any problems as appropriate Participate in meetings and take appropriate action Making appointments Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitor to the practice Organise appointments for GPs, nursing staff and paramedics and assist other members of the primary health care team as required Process requests for notes in line with GDPR Work as part of a dedicated team to provide a consistently high quality support service within a caring environment Qualifications / Experience: A minimum of 1 year previous experience in a similar role Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) Effective communication skills Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently Experience in GDPR legislation Benefits for YOU: Competitive rates of pay (paid weekly) 24 hour on call support Free uniform Free Mandatory Training including our new e-portal online system Paid accrued Holidays Pension Scheme Competitive Recommend-a-Friend Scheme, £150 for 150 hours!
