What you will do: Manage a diverse caseload including Children in Need, Child Protection, Children Looked After, and perform assessment work. Undertake Family Help and statutory assessments, providing timely and high-quality analysis. Build positive relationships with children and families to ensure safety and promote positive change. Perform direct work with children, ensuring their voices are at the heart of all plans. Collaborate with multi-agency professionals to address children's needs. Contribute to safeguarding processes, including child protection investigations as required. Produce clear, analytical, court-ready reports and recordings. Participate in the duty rota to screen incoming referrals effectively. About You: You are a Qualified Social Worker with registration at Social Work England. You have experience working within statutory children’s services and feel confident managing safeguarding cases and complex family situations. You possess knowledge of SEND, disability, and the impact of additional needs on children and families. Your assessment, analytical, and communication skills are top-notch. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively.
