Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of complex SEND needs. Assist with learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO. Promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing for all pupils. Support with personal care where required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to meet individual needs. Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reviews and EHCP targets. Requirements: Previous experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a school setting. Ability to manage challenging behaviour and implement positive strategies. A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to assist with personal care when necessary.
