As a solar installer, you will be responsible for assisting the installation team while safely installing roof and ground mounted solar systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Install rooftop and ground-mount solar PV systems including; flashing, racking, module level power electronics (micro inverters/optimizers), array wiring, and junction boxes
* Maintain a clean job site and work truck
* Assist the crew lead and electrician in the completion of the installation
* Assist in loading and unloading company vehicles
* Follow company safety policies
* Work in a fast paced, demanding work environment
* Interact with clients in a respectful manner
* Obtain fall protection certification from Click Safety (1.5 hour course)
* Obtain electrical safety certification from Click Safety (0.4 hour course)
* Perform other related duties, as required
Pay:
$20-$27/hr. DOE

This position requires a background check and may require a motor vehicle record check
Requirements:
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
* Must be able to climb a ladder and work on a steep sloped roof
* Must use safety equipment per protocol
* Must be willing to get in a crawl space/attic
* Must be willing to work on your feet for long periods of time
* Must be team oriented and have a strong mechanical aptitude
* Must maintain a professional attitude
* Must be able to maintain continual improvement
* Must be willing to work outside during all 4 seasons of the year
* Ability to work with power tools and hand tools
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, required
* High attention to detail, required
* Experience in construction and/or roofing,
* OSHA 10 certification,
* NABCEP certification,
