The prime function of the IT Technician is to ensure that all IT networks and facilities are correctly supported and maintained, improving the quality of IT provision available to students and staff.

Information about the School
St Martin’s School is a large co‑educational comprehensive school located in Hutton, Brentwood. The school benefits from a pleasant semi‑rural environment with agricultural land to the rear. It also includes a large sixth‑form block and is situated on an open, attractive 30‑acre site. Parking is available on‑site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. Hutton is five miles from the M25 and 19 miles from London, which is easily reached by road or train (25 minutes to Liverpool Street Station).
This is a large, but friendly school in which all staff are helped to develop their talents. The extensive and wide‑ranging in‑house continual professional development programme (CPD) supports this. We have high quality mentoring and induction programmes for staff with excellent opportunities for training and professional development.
