Electrical Supervisor
Location: Portsmouth (3 sites)
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday (with on call) – 7:30 AM to 4 PM
Responsibilities
* Supervise and deliver electrical maintenance and repair works across multiple client sites
* Ensure all planned preventative maintenance is completed in line with schedules and contractual requirements
* Lead, manage and support a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with Mitie and site Health & Safety policies
* Supervise subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS and site rules
* Monitor performance against KPIs and actively participate in training, appraisals and development activities
Required Qualifications
* City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent electrical qualification
* Ability to obtain SC Clearance
What We're Looking For
* Extensive experience in Supervising or Management in Facilities/Engineering
* Strong experience in electrical installation, maintenance and repair work
* Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work or relevant compliance understanding
* IT literacy, with the ability to accurately record work and documentation
* Willingness to join a call‑out rota and hold a full UK driving licence
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS/ECC and IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
