At Castle Hill, our Radiology team is proud to offer a growing non‑vascular interventional service that supports patients across the Trust. We work Monday to Friday, 8:00‑18:00, and provide a 24‑hour urgent on‑call service to ensure patients receive the care they need, whenever they need it. If you are successful in securing this role, you will play an important part in supporting our registered nurses as they deliver hands‑on care to patients undergoing non‑vascular interventional procedures.
Responsibilities
* Assist with patient transfers between Radiology and other areas of the hospital, ensuring smooth and comfortable movement throughout the care pathway.
* Provide patient support before, during, and after procedures, helping patients feel safe, informed, and supported.
* Carry out essential clerical and housekeeping duties, maintaining accurate records using Trust systems.
* Take ownership of stock management, ordering and maintaining supplies to keep the service running without interruption.
* Support a friendly, supportive team culture, with good communication, flexibility, and a willingness to get involved.
