Student Welfare and Medical Support Officer – Croydon – ASAP Start – Salary: £25,179 (term‑time only, 36 hours per week).

The Role
A secondary school in Croydon is looking for a proactive and reliable student welfare and medical support officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first aid and medical assistance to students, supporting attendance tracking and follow‑up, and assisting with wider pastoral and safeguarding processes.
You will be the key point of contact for student welfare throughout the school day, ensuring pupils are safe, supported, and able to access learning. Strong communication skills, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to build positive relationships with both students and staff are essential.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working in a school environment
* Knowledge of SIMS
* First Aid qualification preferred, or willingness to undertake training
