Patient Accounts Administrator – Health Fund Billing & Debt Follow Up

Ongoing, Part Time position (24 hours per week)

Cabrini Malvern location / hybrid arrangement

How you will make an impact
As a Patient Accounts Administrator, you will work as part of an experienced and dedicated team who are responsible for billing and debtor follow up from Health Funds, TAC and Workcover claims for services provided at Cabrini. Key responsibilities of the role include:

8. Raising claims/accounts (Billing) in accordance with the relevant contracts.

9. Ensure legislation requirements are met, and all relevant documentation is completed.

10. Following up unprocessed claims, resubmissions and attending to audit cases.

11. Ensuring clear lines of communication between the Patient Accounts Department and other Cabrini departments.

12. Ensuring a high standard of care is provided to all stakeholders

13. Following up unpaid accounts with health funds, TAC and Workcover and third-party providers

About you

The successful candidate will be someone who thrives on delivering exceptional service. You will also have the following:

14. Previous experience in a Private Health care, medical environment, or health insurance industry.

15. Previous experience and confidence in billing inpatient claims.

16. Have experience in using WebPas and Eclipse, other health fund and third-party portals.

17. High Attention to detail.

18. A high level of effectiveness in a team-based environment and an ability to work autonomously.

19. Knowledge of medical terminology.

20. A professional attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
