Generator Service Engineer
The role will be responsible providing onsite customer support to our range of generator machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Both Workshop and Onsite customer support to our range of Generators within the region
* Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment
* Repair and service of generators and associated equipment
* Complete paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner
* Have the ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems
* Good customer service skills
Key skills we are looking for:
* Minimum of 5 years experience servicing Industrial diesel generators in a field based role
* Excellent working knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams
* Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills
* IT Proficient
* Interpersonal relationships/ Customer awareness/ Commercial awareness
* Efficient and flexible with the ability to work without supervision
