A well-established global logistics provider is looking for a driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across the South West region. You’ll represent a leading logistics and supply chain provider, offering multimodal freight, warehousing, customs, and e-commerce solutions to a diverse client base. This is a field-based role with flexibility, autonomy, and the backing of a national infrastructure.
Must have previous experience in Freight OR Logistics
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Location: United Kingdom
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 plus commission & company car

* Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to win new business across freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain services.
* Identify and engage prospective clients across key industries in the South West, including manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from SMEs to large enterprises.
* Collaborate with internal operations, customs, and commercial teams to deliver tailored, end-to-end solutions.
* Represent the company at regional networking events, trade shows, and industry forums.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline and performance updates.
Skills & Attributes:
* Proven success in B2B sales within logistics, freight, or supply chain sectors.
* Strong knowledge of the South West business landscape and regional logistics challenges.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-starter with a hunter mentality and a passion for delivering value to clients.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
