Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Full Stack Engineer – Tech and Delivery Lead to lead the design, build, and delivery of an end-to-end AI-enabled helpdesk and workflow automation platform. This role combines hands‑on full stack engineering with technical leadership and delivery accountability, owning solutions across web UI, backend services, APIs, AI and agent orchestration, and enterprise integrations.
The successful candidate will lead technical delivery within an agile environment, ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for security, resilience, scalability, compliance, and operational readiness while delivering measurable business value through AI-driven automation initiatives.
What you will do:
* Act as the technical lead for the platform across frontend, backend, APIs, and AI or agent workflows.
* Define end-to-end solution architecture aligned with enterprise technology standards and engineering best practices.
* Provide hands‑on guidance, code reviews, and mentoring to engineers within the delivery team.
* Ensure non‑functional requirements including security, performance, observability, resilience, and scalability are achieved.
* Design and build user‑facing applications for employees, support agents, and administrators.
* Develop frontend, backend, and API layers supporting chat functionality, ticket submission, case management, escalation, and status tracking.
* Build and enhance AI and LLM‑powered workflows to automate repetitive IT helpdesk activities.
* Implement prompt flows, guardrails, fallback logic, human‑in‑the‑loop processes, and enterprise‑grade error handling mechanisms.
* Own delivery activities from discovery and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and production release.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver incremental value.
* Drive agile delivery ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demonstrations.
* Manage delivery risks, dependencies, technical debt, and implementation challenges proactively.
* Integrate solutions with enterprise platforms including ticketing, identity, collaboration, and ITSM systems.
* Ensure secure integration patterns including authentication, RBAC, auditing, and logging controls.
* Support production releases, operational readiness activities, and live service handover processes.
* Ensure adherence to governance, security, compliance, and risk management requirements.
* Communicate technical decisions, delivery progress, and risks effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and delivery practices.
Qualifications:
* Strong hands‑on full stack engineering experience using modern frontend and backend frameworks.
* Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java with experience building production‑grade APIs and services.
* Demonstrated experience leading technical delivery within agile environments.
* Experience designing and developing REST APIs, workflow engines, and enterprise web applications.
* Working knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, agent and tool‑calling patterns, and responsible AI implementation practices.
* Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, secure coding practices, and auditability principles.
* Experience working within regulated or large‑scale enterprise environments.
* Experience integrating with ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, or similar ITSM platforms is preferred.
* Experience integrating with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams or Slack is preferred.
* Background building internal employee tools or enterprise support platforms is preferred.
* Experience working within financial services or similarly regulated industries is preferred.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud‑native architectures.
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership capabilities.
