About the Role
A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced and organised Administrator to join their team based in Warrington. This is a long-term freelance position offering stability and an opportunity to work within a reputable, high-performing construction environment.
The successful candidate will provide vital administrative support across several areas, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and smooth day-to-day operations within the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Process employee expenses and travel claims accurately and efficiently.
* Monitor, track, and upload documentation, qualifications, and certifications for both permanent and freelance workforce, ensuring all meet client compliance standards.
* Manage and maintain the client portal, including updating records and uploading relevant documentation.
* Handle incoming calls and respond promptly and professionally to emails and general enquiries.
* Oversee and monitor agency workers, ensuring all compliance and onboarding documentation aligns with company standards.
* Book travel and accommodation arrangements such as hotels, conference centres, trains, and related expenses for staff and management.
* Provide general administrative and office support to the wider project and operational teams as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a construction or engineering environment.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident in managing multiple tasks and prioritising workload effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using client or compliance portals.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a busy, dynamic team.
As an administrator you will be supporting our day-to-day operation, contributing to the smooth running of our projects.
Duties
* Process expenses and travel claims
* Monitoring, tracking and uploading documentation, qualifications and certification of their permanent and freelance workforce ensuring they meet the standards set by their clients.
* Manage their Client portal, incoming calls, responding to emails
* Monitoring agency workers and ensuring compliance with company’s standards
* Booking hotels, conference centres, trains and other related travel expenses
* Process employees’ expenses claims
