An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join our Group FP&A team based at our Head Office in Linwood. This is a full-time and permanent role.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the job holder will work closely with the Head of FP&A, Management Accounting team, and Finance Business Partners. The successful applicant will have exposure to the senior leadership team across finance and the wider business, providing insightful analysis to support continued success and growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and report on financial and operational KPIs
* Owner of Group capex approval process providing constructive challenge
* Consolidation and analysis of divisional budgets and forecasts
* Assist the Financial reporting team with pulling together the monthly Board Presentation
* Analyse and support business unit forecasts and plans and provide the Executive Team with insight on variances versus Budget, Prior Year and Forecast, upside/downside and other major issues
* Assist in the development of internal and external presentations and provide supporting financial analysis for the presentations
* Business partnering finance and non-finance stakeholders providing support and challenge to maximise performance
* Responsible for driving continuous improvement in financial analysis and reporting utilising Group finance systems
* Support for ad-hoc strategic projects
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* ICAS/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* FP&A/commercial finance/business partnering experience (desirable)
* Ability to handle large volumes of data (desirable)
* Knowledge of financial systems (desirable)
* Commercial awareness and business acumen
* Effective interpersonal skills, managing communications within the finance team and across all departments in the business
* Strong excel skills
