About the Role As a Partnership Manager, you’ll build and nurture long-term relationships with key customers, resellers, and technology partners. You will also use Business Development skills to contact new opportunities and win new business. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and delivering solutions that help organisations get the most from their IT investments. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders — both internally and externally — to understand customer needs, identify new opportunities, and deliver exceptional service across multiple sectors. What You’ll Be Doing Creating new opportunities with customers that do not currently trade with Converge, booking meetings to introduce our solutions team and associated vendor partners Developing and owning senior-level relationships with key customers and prospects Identifying new sales opportunities across hardware, software, services, and education solutions Supporting strategic growth plans across Public Sector Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to proposal to long-term account development Running onsite meetings, contract reviews, Teams Meetings Roadmap sessions etc Ensuring timely delivery of products and services, acting as the communication link between customers and internal teams Resolving customer issues, maintaining trust, and driving customer satisfaction Preparing accurate forecasts and reporting using key account metrics Supporting Converge’s sustainability strategy and internal processes What We’re Looking For Essential: 5 years’ experience in Public Sector (non-Education) technology sales and Business Development Strong solution-selling skills with the ability to create win-win proposals Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and strong technical understanding Proven ability to build relationships at executive level CRM proficiency and accurate forecasting capability Desired: Strong understanding of the UK technology market and partner ecosystem Experience in Public Secto sales (specifically Local Government, NHS or Blue Light), or key account management Demonstrable track record of hitting/exceeding targets Who You Are You bring: A passion for the brand and our vision A growth mindset and drive for continuous improvement A collaborative approach to teamwork A customer-centric mindset The ability to influence, challenge, and inspire others You’ll also embody Converge’s values: Empowering Our People Sustainability & Community Customer-Centric Excellence Partnerships Built on Trust Why Join Converge?
