About the Role
Mott MacDonald’s UK and Ireland water business is the centre of excellence for responding to water and wastewater challenges, offering fantastic opportunities in diverse and technically complex projects. The work we do is at the forefront of ensuring safe water supplies for future generations and protecting the ecology of our rivers and seas. We have ambitious growth plans and need talented civil engineers with a background in water and wastewater who will thrive.
Responsibilities
* Work across multiple UK and Ireland water companies.
* Be part of multi-disciplinary design teams in project delivery.
* Prepare design submissions to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
* Undertake studies, concept, preliminary and detailed design.
* Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
* Civil Engineering degree.
* Chartered or near chartered status (ICE or equivalent).
* Water and/or wastewater engineering design experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Understanding of the importance of prioritising health, safety and environmental issues.
* Proactive approach, with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
Desirable Qualifications
* Strong digital capability.
* Project management experience or a desire to develop these skills.
