BUSINESS STUDIES TEACHER
Location: Aylesbury. Start: September 2026. Full Time: Temporary to Permanent. Salary: £29,344–£44,919.
Students often know the idea they just don’t know how to explain it properly. Your role is to turn that into clear, structured answers.
As a Secondary Business Studies Teacher, you will teach KS4 students how to apply knowledge, structure responses, and understand real-world business concepts.
Key responsibilities
* Teach GCSE Business Studies
* Explain key topics such as finance, marketing, and operations
* Develop structured written responses
* Support coursework and exam preparation
* Use real-world examples in lessons
* Track student progress
* Maintain focused classroom routines

* Lessons are structured and purposeful
* Students understand expectations
* Behaviour is consistent and calm
* Learning builds over time
Skills and experience
* Experience teaching Business or related subjects
* Strong explanation skills
* Organisation and classroom management
* Understanding of GCSE requirements

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with business or finance backgrounds.
