About the Team:

We are a Family Help Team and work with a range of families including those in need of Family Help Assessment, Targeted Early Support, Children in Need, those who are on the Edge of Care or Child Protection and Court, and children in care until they have a plan of permanency outside of their parents care or with a plan of reunification home. Our Family Help Team is multi-agency with Family Support Workers, Family Practitioners, Social Workers, Systemic Consultants, PCSO's and soon NHS Nurses - all working together to meet the holistic needs of our families to reduce risk and keep families together.

We work with families under the principles of Restorative Practice to identify plans which meet each individual family's needs and is used with every family, to help them identify positive change in order to develop a plan that works for them. About the Role:

We are recruiting for the role of a Social Worker in our Family Help Team covering Nuneaton and Bedworth on a fixed term basis of 12 months. In addition to a fulltime post, there is also a 22 hour part-time post available.

* Based at The Hilary Road Centre, Hilary Road. Nuneaton, CV10 9AD

Key Requirements:

* Monday to Thursday 9am till 5.30pm & Friday 9am till 5pm
* Professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW))
* In depth experience in children's social work and experience of complex cases
* Have excellent analytical skills with the ability to make well informed decisions
* Can record and produce concise, effective, and accuratereports
* Have good communication skills with the ability to build relationships, engage with children and families

Applicants for the role will need a professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration.
