Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations within our NHS department. The role involves booking and cancelling appointments, updating customer records, relaying information between patients and healthcare consultants, and performing general administrative and data entry tasks. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.



Key Responsibilities:



1.
Book, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments in line with service protocols



2.
Update and maintain accurate patient and customer records using NHS systems



3.
Respond to incoming queries via phone and email, providing clear and timely information



4.
Relay information between customers, consultants, and clinical teams as required



5.
Perform general data entry and administrative duties



6.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to NHS policies and data protection standards



7.
Work closely with other administrative team members to support smooth service delivery




Requirements:


Essential:



8.
Previous experience in an administrative or data entry role



9.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal



10.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and/or NHS systems



11.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills



12.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team



13.
Understanding of confidentiality and data protection (GDPR)
