Rate: £16.35/hr(inside IR35) via Umb
About the Role
We are seeking Security Cleared (SC) Service Desk Analysts to support a 24/7 x 365 service environment for a major UK organisation. The role operates on rotating Early, Mid, and Late shifts (covering 07:00–19:00) and involves delivering high-quality first-line technical support within a secure and process-driven environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced IT support roles and are comfortable working within structured SLAs and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
* Investigate and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs
* Fulfil IT service requests and maintain accurate ticket documentation
* Support problem investigations and escalate issues where appropriate
* Create and update knowledge base and support documentation
* Share technical knowledge within the team
* Ensure compliance with security procedures, operational standards, and service processes
Essential Requirements
* Active SC Clearance (minimum)
* Experience in a Service Desk Analyst or First Line Support role
* Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and common business applications
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Willingness to work rotating shifts within a 24/7 support environment
* Attention to detail and strong adherence to processes
