As we continue to grow our patient community, we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Clinic Operations to join our leadership team.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clinic, driving operational excellence, sustainable growth, and an exceptional patient experience. Working closely with the Managing Director and Medical Director, you will lead the operational and commercial success of the clinic while ensuring the highest standards of governance, compliance, and service delivery.
The Role
As Head of Clinic Operations, you will be responsible for the business success, commercial growth, and operational integrity of the clinic. While supported by an experienced Medical Director for clinical guidance, you will lead the non-clinical strategy, financial performance, operational delivery, and overall patient journey.
You will act as the operational anchor of the business, ensuring teams, systems, and processes work seamlessly to deliver an outstanding experience for patients while supporting continued growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, commercial awareness, and a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare services in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & KPI Monitoring
* Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic to provide a seamless and efficient patient experience.
* Drive best in market service levels and ensure the clinic scales efficiently.
* Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the entire patient journey from inquiry to long-term evaluation to optimize performance.
* Prepare comprehensive monthly reports for leadership regarding the financial status, operational efficiency, and strategic growth of the clinic.
People & Performance Management
* Directly manage clinic staff and contractors, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
* Implement effective retention strategies for both staff and patients to ensure long-term stability and service continuity.
Tech & Risk Management
* Lead discussions with the Tech Team to optimize digital platforms and ensure tools support efficient service delivery.
* Identify operational risks and ensure the clinic is appropriately protected through the maintenance of comprehensive insurance coverage.
Legal, Regulatory & Compliance
* Collaborate with clinical colleagues and the Medical Director to ensure absolute legal and regulatory compliance.
* Oversee the administrative aspects of clinical governance and the complaints committee to ensure transparency and precision in documentation.
* Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support quality improvement (QI) initiatives.
Financial Management & Growth Strategy
* Take full accountability for the clinic's Profit & Loss (P&L) and ensure strict adherence to the annual budget.

You are an innovative professional who balances independent decision-making with a collaborative leadership style. You possess the commercial head and operational heart required to lead a modern medical facility.
Essential Criteria
* Leadership Experience: Proven track record in managing a private clinical setting, healthcare facility, or specialized remote care model.
* Strategic Planning: Experience in developing growth and retention strategies within a healthcare or regulated environment.
* People Management: Strong skills in managing diverse teams of staff and independent contractors.
* Communication: Exceptional skills in translating complex operational and technical pathways into clear guidance.
* Financial & Analytical Acumen: Demonstrable experience in P&L management, budget adherence, and high-level reporting.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in clinical audit support or operational quality improvement projects.
* Familiarity with digital health platforms and collaborating with technical development teams.
Work Environment
You will be working in a hybrid capacity. It is your responsibility to ensure confidentially and safety are maintained at all times when outside of a Curaleaf office.
