As a General Porter, you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of catering and hospitality services. Working as part of the wider team, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer service across all outlets and facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with room and event set-upsHandle deliveries and distribute stockSupport stock storage and rotation proceduresMaintain food safety and hygiene standardsClean kitchen, service, and work areasHelp maintain a safe and compliant working environmentWork flexibly across different areas based on business needsCollaborate with colleagues and managers to support a positive team cultureContribute to delivering an excellent experience for customers, staff, and visitorsThis is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who is flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.About youWe are looking for a proactive and reliable individual who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and take pride in delivering high standards in everything they do.You will bring:Experience working in a team-based role, ideally within a hospitality or service environmentStrong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customersGood organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling stock and maintaining hygiene standardsA flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloadsA commitment to health, safety, and food hygiene practices and a willingness to undertake required trainingYou will also be dependable, approachable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
