Behaviour Mentor – Kitts Green Academy (Primary SEMH – Boys) Location: Birmingham (B33 9QY) Type: Full-Time / Long-Term Salary: £95–£95 per day (depending on experience and/or qualifications) Start Date: December 2025 The School and Role ABC Teachers are looking for a skilled and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join Kitts Green Academy, a primary SEMH school for boys, part of the Thrive Education Partnership. The school provides a structured, nurturing environment for boys aged 5–11 who require additional support with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students to manage their emotions, develop social skills, and engage positively with learning. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, or SEND support, and full training and CPD will be provided for those new to SEMH schools. Key Responsibilities Mentor and support boys in classroom and social settings to manage behaviour effectively. Implement and follow individual behaviour plans and interventions. Promote emotional regulation, social skills, and resilience. Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and pastoral staff to support learning and wellbeing.
