* We are looking for compassionate and reliable tutors to provide 1:1 tuition for children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs across Essex.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting students who may struggle in traditional educational settings.

What you will be doing as a tutor
* Delivering engaging 1:1 tuition sessions
* Supporting core subjects (English/Literacy, Maths/Numeracy and Science) and confidence-building
* Creating a positive and safe learning environment
* Working closely with our highly experienced coordinators and Head of Service to support student progress
* Providing mentoring and emotional support where appropriate
What we look for in a tutorExperience supporting young people with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or SEND needs is preferredCalm, patient, and resilient approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently and adapt to student needsWillingness to travel across Essex for face-to-face sessionsTeaching, tutoring, youth work, TA, mentoring, or alternative provision experience would all be beneficial.
