This role can be based around the Stockton region.

As an OHL Project Coordinator, you would be primarily responsible for monitoring the OHL activities around Northumberland, County Durham, Tyne & Wear and Teesside as part of the major OHL framework IUS is conducting for Northern Powergrid.

Key Responsibilities
•OHL Project Coordinator on Northern Powergrid Overhead Line works.
•Monitoring the quality and efficiency of the OHL projects by checking the works against specifications and auditing work instructions to ensure compliance.
•Regular site safety audits – checking tools, equipment, training and compliances to company policies.
•Support with surveying and collating of on-site information for front end purposes such as accessing or pricing up of schemes.
•Frequent supervision of site activities in order to create a constant senior presence and maintain a positives safety/quality culture within the OHL team.
•Supporting the planners with other activities.
•Reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

•Good understanding and experience with local authorities, NRSWA and traffic management.
Qualifications and Attributes
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
•Previous experience with supervising and managing on site activities preferably related to OHLs but not limited to.
•IOSH managing safely or equivalent experience around safety principles and risk management/mitigation.
•Full UK Driving Licence – with 6 points or less.
•GCSE’s – A-C Maths & English
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
•Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or Relevant qualification in Civil, Utilities or Electrical Infrastructure (Such as an A-level or higher education certificate).
•Experience working with Overhead lines on both HV & LV assets.
•Previous experience of working on DNO Asset Replacement sites.
•Background and understanding of Street Works, Civils and Temporary works
•Previous experience with customer liaison
