GP Triage Role for Unscheduled bleeding on HRT pathway

The closing date is 21 September 2025

To support with management of unscheduled bleeding on HRT management for patients across Birmingham and Solihull.


Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide clinical advice and support that will ultimately result in timely management of patients referred on an unscheduled bleeding on HRT pathway, for the local population and locality.

The post holder will work closely with the Gynaecology team within Birmingham and Solihull and the new system GP leads who will be progressing the cancer agenda, including pathway development, on behalf of the ICB.

Job responsibilities

Offer a timely advice and guidance service for management of unscheduled bleeding on HRT.

Provide appropriate management of HRT.

Liaise with BWH Gynaecology team to communicate and discuss any complexities, to ensure that patients get the appropriate support.

Utilise the support links with the BWH Gynaecology team to communicate and discuss any complex cases, to ensure that patients are managed or re-directed appropriately.

Worth within policy and guidance of the unscheduled bleeding on HRT BSol pathway (see enclosed).

Support with the development and delivery of the unscheduled bleeding on HRT pathway .

Collaborate with the WMCA, system GP clinical cancer leads and the Gynaecology team within BWH.

Attend the regional West Midlands Cancer Alliance GP educational events. Support and attend the local BSol ICB GP educational cancer events.


Person Specification


Qualifications

* MBBS
* Full GMC registration
* MRCGP


Knowledge

* Relevant experience in menopause and HRT management
* Leadership courses or qualifications
