The MENA Grocery team (UFG) is offering a role to own building new business from ground zero. We are seeking a self-starter who can quickly familiarize themselves with this fast-paced environment, build relationships and trust with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership within the program. This will require understanding complex business, tech, and operations processes at Amazon and our partners, and devising an optimal engagement model. You must thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, analytical talent, and good document writing skills with concise communication are essential for success in this role.
We are looking for a smart, results-oriented Site Merchandiser to help grow our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing best-in-class site merchandising and customer engagement strategies.
As a Site Merchandiser, you will ensure that customer experience and expectations are met to a high standard. Responsibilities include executing and scheduling content across emails, push notifications, home pages, category pages, and other site pages based on instructions from the Site Merchandiser. You will also prepare performance and traffic reports for management, assist in creating new engagement content, and coordinate with category managers, designers, and other editors across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Owning store merchandising and curations
* Running and analyzing performance reports
* Learning merchandising tools and widgets
* Assisting in executing the site merchandising calendar, including email programs, new product launches, cross-category placements, and site-wide events
* Developing merchandising strategies for large store promotions and working closely with category managers and merchandising teams to schedule promotions
* Planning, executing, and analyzing promotional campaigns for customers
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree
* Understanding of merchandising performance metrics
* Basic Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis
* Quick learner with merchandising and promotional tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Previous marketing and merchandising experience is preferred
