The Role
Reporting directly to the Director, the Marine Engineering Manager plays an integral role in overseeing the engineering delivery function. You will manage a team of 16 Project Engineers and Project Managers, ensuring the successful delivery of all active contracts across the companys portfolio. This is a diverse, leadership-driven position offering exposure to a variety of marine projects and customers across the world.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of marine engineers and project professionals.
* Oversee contract delivery to ensure quality, timeliness, and profitability.
* Act as a key technical and managerial liaison with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.
* Support business growth and continuous improvement across engineering functions.
The Candidate
* Background as a Senior Engineering Officer within the Royal Navy or Merchant Navy.
* Proven experience in marine engineering and engineering management.
* Strong people leadership and mentoring capabilities.
* Confident communicator with the ability to present to and engage with customers at all levels.
