Service Coordinator Temporary Position (6-8 weeks with potential for extension or permanency) Salary: £26,500 per annum Location: IP12 Start Date: Monday 19th May 2025 or ASAP Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 17:30 Join our team as a Service Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the activities of Engineers within your designated zone. This position involves handling installations, services, and breakdowns efficiently to ensure optimal service delivery. Day-to-day of the role: Answer telephone calls from customers and Engineers promptly and courteously. Log all breakdowns, schedule bookings for Engineers, and keep all parties informed of arrangements or changes. Order parts on behalf of Engineers, maintaining communication about the status of ordered parts. Handle customer queries regarding the status of jobs and manage the re-booking process for follow-up Engineer visits. Verify job details upon completion, liaise with Engineers about any discrepancies, and ensure that invoices are processed correctly. Required Skills & Qualifications: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail. Experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within a technical or fast paced environment. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
