Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified social worker to work within our Integrated Services for adults with disabilities at the Millennium Centre in Leasowe Wirral. You will support adults with complex needs and their carers to achieve outcomes and contribute to innovative integrated care. All new starters will commence in post on a fixed monthly start date in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme, which offers up to three weeks of training.
Key Responsibilities
You will be a person-centred practitioner with experience of carrying out Care Act assessments, developing personalised support plans, completing mental capacity assessments, and leading safeguarding enquiries. A good understanding of asset and strength-based approaches to assessment and support planning is essential.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
You must be a qualified social worker registered with SWE. We welcome applications from newly qualified staff or from social work students in their final year of practice.
Training & Career Development
We offer a clear career progression framework with a range of training opportunities. The salary for newly qualified staff or final-year students differs from Band 6 and will be discussed informally.
